Lesley Hannah, a Solicitor Advocate and Partner at Hausfeld’s London office, specialises in competition damages litigation. With extensive experience in advising and representing major corporate clients, she has managed multi-party claims and litigated against multiple defendants across a broad range of industries. Lesley has carved herself an incredible reputation in bringing complex competition litigation damages claims, particularly in the technology sphere. She played a pivotal role in filing abuse of dominance claims against tech giants Google, Apple and Amazon in the Competition Appeal Tribunal. The Lawyer recognised her as one of the Hot 100 for her work in this area.
Previously, Lesley led a damages claim against Google linked to the European Commission’s infringement finding concerning Google’s search practices and has intervened in both the General Court and the Court of Justice in relation to Google’s appeal of the Shopping decision. Lesley is a leading partner in the Apple App and Google Play Store abuse of dominance claims, which are both listed for trial in 2025.
She has represented her clients in the English and European courts and has considerable litigation experience in the Competition Appeal Tribunal, the English High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court.
