Career

With almost 30 years of experience, Francesca Rolla’s activity spans almost all areas of contentious work – from product liability litigation, mass torts, commercial and corporate disputes, and white collar crimes – across industry sectors as diverse as life sciences, automotive, insurance, and consumer goods. She is the head of the Hogan Lovells Italian Litigation practice and of the Investigations & White Collar Crimes group in Italy.

Be it a product liability dispute, a class action or a complex commercial litigation, domestic or cross border, Francesca is at the forefront of Italian litigators. In the Life Sciences sector, Francesca has represented and represents clients in key litigations over drugs, vaccines and medical devices, often in the context of multi-jurisdiction litigations, as well as in compliance and investigations matters.

Drawing on her extensive experience in product liability and mass tort litigation, Francesca assists clients in conducting internal investigations and provides coordinated defence strategies in the context of investigations by criminal or other public authorities, often with cross border relevance.
