Career

At SÉRVULO since 2008, Sofia Carreiro is a partner in the Corporate, Commercial and M&A department, having a special focus on M&A matters. She holds graduate qualifications in Commercial Contracts from the Centre for Commercial Law and Economic Law (Centro de Direito Comercial e de Direito da Economia) of the Faculty of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University (2000), and in Industrial Property Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (1998). Sofia concluded in 2021 the Advanced Management in Energy (AMEG) course, from the AESE Business School, a program aimed at top-level managers and executives working in the energy sector, developed in partnership with the Portuguese Energy Association. She started her professional career at the law firm «Ferreira Pinto & Associados», in 1999 as an associate and, in 2006, as a partner. She joined the Portuguese Bar Association in 1999.
