Career

Caroline Landerfors is a Swedish attorney-at-law with profound knowledge of and extensive experience in the area of insurance. She combines competence in the regulatory field with commercial, contractual and claims-related aspects of insurance, providing holistic and strategic advice to insurance companies, insurance distributors, financial institutions and other stakeholders.

Caroline has previously worked as an in-house legal counsel, data protection officer, and compliance officer at Aon. Her previous positions also include legal counsel, data protection officer, and liability claims adjuster at AIG.

Caroline serves on the board of the Insurance Law Association (Försäkringsjuridiska föreningen), which was founded in 1932. She inspires and leads events for the Insurance Law Association including for example seminars on InsurTech and the future of insurance law principles in a digitalized context.

Caroline represents the Swedish Bar Association on its insurance committee that procures collective insurance solutions for members of the Swedish Bar. She is also a member of the Swedish Bar’s professional liability claims committee.

Caroline won the title Insurance Lawyer of the Year for Sweden in the 2020 edition of Finance Monthly Legal Awards.
