Work Department
Dispute Resolution
Position
Litigation can be a daunting undertaking for corporates and individuals and is often a distraction for clients who would rather focus on furthering their businesses. My job, therefore, is to work alongside clients to help resolve those disputes and minimise those distractions, however possible.
I specialise in solving commercial problems. This can be achieved via court action, arbitration, or alternative means such as mediation. I have an extensive range of experience, which can be turned to almost any type of disputes. My practice includes most commercial litigation work, often with an international element, including breach of contract, misrepresentation and warranty claims, and cases involving freezing injunctions and other forms of injunctive relief. I have a particular interest and focus on financial services disputes, civil fraud and data and cyber risk.
Outside of the office, I am the co-founder and past president of the Junior London Solicitors Litigation Association, an organisation that represents the interests of over 900 junior litigators practising in London, and, having now aged sufficiently, I presently sit as a committee member of the London Solicitors Litigation Association.
Beyond work, I am a keen gym-goer, and previously maintained a strong interest in caving (potholing). My ability to participate in the latter has, however, fallen away in recent years – I now spend most of my “down-time” running after my young family and digging holes of a different kind.
