Career
Brian is a Partner in the Asset Management and Investment Funds and Financial Regulation teams.
Brian advises privately owned and institutional fund sponsors and investment managers and proprietary and third party management companies operating in Ireland or servicing Irish funds as well as fund Boards. He also advises Irish investment firms, such as portfolio managers and distributors.
Brian specialises in the establishment of investment funds of all product types and investment firms and advises on all applicable regulatory and compliance matters. His investment funds practice covers product design, contract negotiation, authorisation, distribution, migration and all applicable regulatory and compliance matters.
Brian’s international experience includes working in a New York listed and NASDAQ registered broker / dealer prior to commencing his career at Dillon Eustace.
Memberships
Brian is currently a member of the Irish Funds Legal & Regulatory Working Group of which he was previously chairman. Brian is a regular speaker at international fund events and occasionally is a speaker at Irish MiFID Industry Association events.
