Career

Harmen Holtrop, attorney at law, has been managing partner of Loyens & Loeff N.V. since October 2022. Together with Roderik Beckers he makes up the Executive Board of Loyens & Loeff.

Harmen has a focus on corporate M&A and private equity work and was co-chair of the corporate practice group. He has a broad practice with a special focus on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and general corporate representation. He has developed a particular expertise in representing private equity firms and other financial investors in leveraged buyouts, investments and exits. 

Harmen is known for the high number of deals he has successfully closed in the past five years. He is also recognised in his field of expertise by Chambers & Partners (Global & Europe) and Legal 500.
