Career

Nuno is a partner and co-head of the Employment and Labour practice. He has almost 20 years’ experience in legal practice and focuses on employment and labour law and social security matters. Nuno is known for advising on the employment structuring of privatisation operations and large merger operations. He has advised a number of Portuguese and multinational companies.

Nuno also has experience in employment disputes and regularly works on major restructuring processes. He advises a number of multinational companies on all employment and labour law and social security matters, especially pay and benefits, corporate investigations and collective bargaining.

Before joining PLMJ, Nuno spent one year as director of the legal department of the Common Use of Hospitals Service.

He is currently a member of the editorial board of the magazine Human Resources and co-author of the book A Nova Legislação do Desporto Comentada (The New Sports Legislation Annotated).
