Tiago is a partner and co-head of the Employment Labour practice. He has 30 years’ experience in labour law and is widely recognised in the market for his skills in this area.

Tiago’s comprehensive technical knowledge in this area is allied to a practical and results-oriented approach based on implementing creative solutions with controlled risk. He deals with everything from individual employment disputes to corporate restructuring on an international scale.

Tiago appears regularly before the courts and this direct contact allows him to maintain the level of confidence needed to provide assertive advice to his clients.

Over the course of his career, he has worked with many sectors but, in particular, telecoms, aviation, industry, mining, pharmaceutical and banking, representing the majority of the leading Portuguese and foreign companies that do business in the country.

Tiago has a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.
