Career

Pedro is a partner in the Dispute Resolution practice who is known for his extensive experience in corporate and financial disputes. He has represented clients in large, highly complex court and arbitration cases, often involving multiple jurisdictions. Before working as a lawyer, he was judge in the Portuguese courts for more than a decade.

Pedro is a professor at the Faculty of Law of Universidade Nova de Lisboa, where he is responsible for the subject of corporate law and he coordinates the master’s in law and management, offered in conjunction with Nova School of Business and Economics. Pedro has a PhD in private law and has written books and articles on various topics, but with a particular emphasis on corporate governance and M&A.
