Position
Tim specialises in commercial disputes and arbitrations, with particular knowledge and experience across a number of industry sectors, particularly in financial services, insurance and reinsurance, building and construction, and energy. Tim’s practice encompasses various areas of specialist commercial law including expertise in commercial fraud, private international law, international trade and professional negligence.
Many of Tim’s cases have an international element, and he has notable familiarity with disputes in and concerning the Middle East.

Charles Dougherty KC successfully represented a silk against allegations of negligence and costs fraud. Led by Dougherty, Timothy Killen is instructed to act for a large retail group in the Middle East in a claim against insurance brokers for business interruption losses arising out of the COVID-19 pandemic. Doré Green regularly handles professional liability cases arising within the construction sector; he recently acted in the case of London Borough of Hillingdon v Paradigm Homes and Others, which concerned the development and fire safety strategy of Packet Boat House.
