Career

Robert joined chambers following completion of his pupillage under the supervision of Ben Casey, Paul McGrath and Julia Smyth. During the year he gained experience of a wide range of areas including personal injury, insurance fraud and credit hire, costs, inquests and public law.

Robert accepts instructions in all Chambers’ main areas of practice. He routinely appears in applications, case management conferences, small claims, disposal hearings and fast track trials.

Before training for the Bar, Robert had a career as a political adviser in Westminster, including serving as a special adviser in the Cabinet Office.
