Position

Christian Kragelund advises on all aspects of IP law with a particular focus on trademarks and design protection. He caters for Danish and international clients in complex strategic matters involving the establishment, maintenance and validity and/or infringement of IP rights. Christian has specialist knowledge of advising international businesses and of the administration of complex and comprehensive IP portfolios.

With more than 25 years’ experience, Christian has gained specialist knowledge of all IP-law aspects, and, through a large international network, he provides advice on local and international IP-related issues. Christian has conducted a large number of proceedings concerning IP disputes in countries such as China, Japan and USA as well as before the European Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO, formerly OHIM) and has thorough knowledge of such practice in many different jurisdictions.

Christian is Chair of DIFI (Danish Institute for IPR Training). Christian was formerly secretary and a member of the boards of the associations LES Scandinavia (Licensing Executives Society) and FIR/AIPPI (the Danish association for the protection of industrial rights).

He has co-authored a number of articles and books and regularly gives lectures.
