Antoine Pian focuses his practice in financial services and investment management.
He advises French management companies in their activities covering regulatory approvals and fundraising. Mr. Pian also has significant experience in the structuring of French and pan-European investment funds, such as private equity funds (buyout and venture capital funds), funds of funds, feeder funds and real estate funds.
In addition, he also advises institutional or corporate investors in relation to their investments in French and foreign private funds and regularly participates in the negotiation of secondary transactions as well as in the acquisition of management companies.
Mr. Pian also has a wide-ranging regulatory experience in financial regulation and asset management (regulatory approval, prudential regulations, investment services, etc.) which enables him to advise French and international fund managers (both AIFM and UCITS managers), MiFID regulated entities, credit institutions, and other regulated entities on regulatory aspects of their activities in France.
Prior to joining Dechert, he served as an associate in the private investment funds group of another international law firm.
