Position

Dali Al Habboub is a partner in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution team in Dentons’ Muscat office. He has over 25 years’ experience working on a wide range of dispute resolution and local law matters including advising clients on high-profile cases, spanning both commercial and civil litigation and encompassing all areas of dispute resolution, including arbitration and mediation. His experience is across a range of different sectors including financial institutions, governments, real estate, defence and construction.

Dali spent five years as an in-house lawyer at Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), Oman’s state-owned oil and gas company as well as spending seven years as a part time lecturer at Sudan University for Science and Technology (formerly known as Khartoum Polytechnic), teaching English law, contract law, agency law, insurance law, banking law and company law. Dali ran his own law office before moving to Oman over 25 years ago.

Dali has been recognised as one of the top 10 dispute resolution champions in Oman by Business Today. He was also named in Legal 500’s Recommended Arbitration Powerlist 2023 and is ranked Band 1 in Chambers.

Dali is bilingual and has the ability to draft and negotiate in Arabic and English.
