Position

Peter Hughes is a counsel in Clifford Chance’s Americas Energy and Infrastructure Group, based in Washington, DC. He advises developers, investors, lenders and US agencies relating to energy and infrastructure projects worldwide, with a particular emphasis on the US and US federal energy regulatory issues. He has particular expertise in renewable energy financings.

Peter received a J.D. from New York University School of Law, an A.B., summa cum laude, from Dartmouth College, a MES in EU Integration Studies from the University of Bonn, Germany, as a Fulbright Scholar, and a MPhil in Historical Studies from the University of Cambridge, England.
