Ana Paula’s main practice areas are federal income tax and international tax, including cross-border M&A and joint ventures. Her practice includes the representation of individuals and corporations in matters related to structuring and implementing commercial transactions, tax planning, business ventures, long-term business arrangements, investments, financing, M&A, spin-offs, divestitures, non-taxable reorganizations and consulting on all tax related matters, among others.

Ana Paula has solid experience on international transactions, including the representation of multinational and domestic groups, also assisting them during their tax audits process, and representing them in tax-related contentious matters. Her expertise in corporate law and negotiation skills allow, Ana Paula to assist her clients successfully.

Ana Paula joined NHG in 2021 as Tax partner. She worked for more than 6 years as tax partner at a prestigious tax firm in Mexico.

Ana Paula obtained her law degree from Universidad Panamericana in 2002, and a postgraduate degree from the University of Salamanca in 2004. She has an LLM from the University of Florida – Fredric G Levin College of Law, where she graduated with honors in 2007.
