Career

Carolina rejoined our firm in 2024 as a partner in the Technology, Privacy and Media area. She began her professional practice in the Financial and Corporate group, between 2007 and 2014, involved in major financing transactions and mergers and acquisitions of companies. Between 2015 and 2024 she led the legal department of a technology company in the financial sector, which offers services related to payment methods. In addition, between 2022 and 2024 she served as Risk and Legal Affairs Manager at the same company, leading risk management and compliance, besides her responsibility for legal and regulatory issues. She has extensive experience in financial sector regulation and methods of payment, the contracting of technological services, the administration of risk management and compliance models and, in general, in contract negotiation and corporate matters.
