Position
Tatiana Collins is a Partner in Walkers’ Jersey Investment Funds & Corporate practice group, advising on a range of funds, corporate and regulatory matters.
Tatiana advises on funds and corporate transactions including the establishment, management, re-structuring and liquidation of various types of funds and corporate structures, tax and regulatory matters, structured acquisitions and disposals of assets across Europe and financing and re-financing arrangements.
She advises clients primarily in London and in Jersey, and has significant experience with Venture Capital, Real Estate and Private Equity funds.
Tatiana has been in private practice since 2009 in Jersey, London, Cayman and Frankfurt, and is admitted in Jersey, Cayman and England & Wales.
She speaks fluent English, Slovak and Czech and advanced German.
Career
Tatiana trained, and qualified in 2011, with King & Wood Mallesons LLP (legacy of SJ Berwin) in London and spent five years in their London office, including secondments to Frankfurt and Jersey. She subsequently joined an offshore law firm in Jersey, spending 14 months in their Cayman office, before returning to Jersey and qualifying as a Jersey Advocate.
Tatiana has also completed a client secondment to a global investment management firm, Schroders Plc, in London and Jersey.
She joined Walkers in March 2021.

Jersey managing partner Jonathan Heaney spearheads the funds practice, assisting private equity funds with new launches and also advising on BVI law. Dilmun Leach provides ‘good technical insights’ on a range of asset classes, including real estate, private equity and debt funds, providing advice on the restructuring of funds and regulatory requirements. Made up to partner in July 2023, Tatiana Collins acts for funds across their lifecycle, from launch to liquidation.
