Career

Nicolas Leblanc is a partner in Fasken’s Real Estate group in Montréal. He is also active in the Infrastructure group. Nicolas provides strategic advice to a wide range of players in the financial, real estate, transportation and infrastructure markets on the development of projects requiring interaction with administrative, government and community stakeholders.

Nicolas represents owners, managers, promoters and lenders in relation to purchase and sale agreements, development agreements, commercial leases and real estate financings for a wide range of commercial, industrial and multi-residential properties.

Nicolas negotiates diverse real estate transactions and guides clients through the various project steps in the transportation and energy sectors, including the design, construction, procurement and commissioning.

Nicolas acts as external legal counsel to the Société québécoise des infrastructures in relation to the completion of the new Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal and the McGill University Health Centre.

An active member of the Government Relations and Ethics group, Nicolas helps clients understand the legislative framework governing lobbyism and relations with federal and provincial government authorities.
