Enrique A. Diaz, Senior Partner at GRA, head of the Industrial and Intellectual Property Department; IP Latin American expert. Enrique joined the firm in 1998, finished law school in 2001, and by 2010 he became the youngest lawyer to have ever been made Senior Partner in the firm’s history. His practice areas include, but are not limited to: industrial property rights; intellectual property enforcement, infringement, and licensing; intellectual property litigation and protection; intellectual property and international licensing; Internet intellectual property; software licensing; copyright law, licensing, trademark and patent infringement and litigation; domain name disputes; trademark and patent filing and prosecution in Mexico and Latin American countries; trade names, trade dress protection; and sports and entertainment law. Litigations against the Health Authority due to the unlawful granting of Marketing Authorizations that invades IP rights. He is currently a foreign expert on Latin-American intellectual property, managing the prosecution of over 3500 trademarks and more than 1000 patents per year. His portfolio includes clients such as Alticor Inc. and Halliburton Company.
