 Finance Monthly Awards 2017- Mergers and Acquisitions Lawyer of the Year- UK;

 been the NW corporate lawyer of the year (NW Business Insider magazine and EN Magazine) 5 times. They no longer award to individuals. No other currently practising NW lawyer has won them;

 was the only lawyer ever to have won the EN Magazine ‘Dealmaker of the Year’ award. That was following my acting for John Caudwell on the £1.5 Billion sale of Phones4U. I still do all of the work for John’s family office;

 was voted the NW Dealmaker of the Decade (NW Business Insider magazine);

 am Global Head of the Sport Sector at Eversheds Sutherland;

 am the Head of Tech M&A and currently won the following:

 Finance Monthly Magazine ‘Technology M&A Lawyer of the Year 2018;

 Daniel looks after many of the NW region’s largest companies. In January 2019 Daniel acted for Cox & Kings as seller on the £492m disposal of Holidaybreak Education to Midlothian Capital. This was the region’s largest M&A deal in 2018 by some margin. Peter Kerkar, CEO of Cox & Kings (listed) , said “Eversheds Sutherland , our long time M&A advisers, advised on the deal.  Daniel acted for EG Group (turnover £24 Billion) on its $305m acquisition of 244 Minit Mart convenience retail stores and gas stations from TravelCentres of America (Nasdaq listed) which completed in December 2018.
