The group maintains dedicated specialty areas in different sectors such as healthcare real estate finance, headed up by Robin Freeman in San Francisco as well as distressed situations. In Charlotte, Katie Schwarting is a go-to for special servicing. The practice’s restructuring capabilities are further bolstered by Sadia Ghazi as well as restructuring expert Jason DeJonker and structured finance specialist Rick White. The team has also been bolstered by the addition of John Domby’s Charlotte-based originations practice in June 2024.
