Career

Mike Jansen has more than 30 years of experience in public and private M&A transactions and corporate advisory work. His clients include multinationals and large and mid-size (domestic) corporations, amongst others in the IT and (renewable) energy industry.

Mike’s recent experience includes: representing Avient in the acquisition of the DSM protective materials business for US$1.485 billion; assisting SHV Energy N.V. in the formation of a joint venture with UGI Corporation for the production of Renewable Dimethyl Ether (rDME); representing SHV Energy N.V. in the US$170 million acquisition of the LPG businesses (Pinnacle Propane, LLC, Alliant Gas, LLC, and Pinnacle Propane Express, LLC) of U.S. listed American Midstream Partners; representing LyondellBasell in the acquisition of a 50% stake in Rodepa from Rodepa Holding B.V. and ING Investment Participaties B.V.; representing Grisbe B.V. and Van Drie Holding B.V. in the sale of 80% of their shares in Bio Energy Coevorden to VARO Energy; representing Lamb Weston in the acquisition of the remaining interest in the European joint venture Lamb-Weston/Meijer for €700 million; representing SHV Energy N.V. in the auction sale of Primagaz Nederland to DCC Energy; and representing Alcoa in the sale of two bauxite mines and a hydro energy dam (Brokopondo Dam) to the Republic of Suriname.
