Irene Vermeeren has more than 20 years of experience counselling and representing employers and pension funds on employment law and benefits issues, with a focus on Dutch and European pension. Her experience includes involvement in international benefits redesign processes, M&A transactions and benefits harmonization and integration processes, disputes and landmark cases in litigation, including alternative dispute resolution. She has arranged and participated in international employment and compensation benefits projects, as well as conducted and advised on several worldwide restructurings for multinational clients. Given her background, Irene has significant experience representing clients in consultation and negotiation procedures with unions and works councils.
