Mr. Mattus is a partner in and co-chair of the firm’s ERISA & Executive Compensation practice. His practice focuses on various executive compensation and ERISA matters. Mr. Mattus joined the firm in 2008.

Mr. Mattus advises both public and private companies in structuring, implementing and administering equity-based and incentive compensation plans and programs, including providing advice with respect to tax and securities law concerns that arise in connection with such plans and arrangements. Mr. Mattus regularly advises companies in connection with the executive compensation and employee benefits aspects of mergers, acquisitions and other corporate transactions.

Mr. Mattus also represents investment managers and investment funds regarding the establishment and operation of collective investment funds, venture capital operating companies and real estate operating companies.

Mr. Mattus serves as Co-Chair of Pride@Goodwin.
