Myfanwy joined Barcan+Kirby in 2004 having represented and supported Claimants through their personal injury claims since 1990.
She has broad experience with all types of personal injury claims ranging from road traffic and construction site accidents to heavy industry employment-related claims. Myfanwy now specialises in serious injury claims including head injuries, spinal injuries and fatal accidents. She has a particular interest in post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
She also sits as an Assistant Coroner in the Avon Coroner’s Court and has experience of appointment as Solicitor to a Judge-led Inquest.
She is used as ‘internal counsel’ by team members and mentors colleagues on liability, causation and quantum issues.
Myfanwy has conducted personal injury seminars with membership organisations and lectured to doctors.
She is a Certified Member of the Law Society Personal Injury Scheme and a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.
