Career
Samantha joined the firm in 2006 and qualified as a solicitor two years later. Samantha has a vast amount of experience in both employment law cases and personal injury claims. In 2017 she won Bristol Law Society’s Lawyer of the Year and was promoted to Partner in 2018 whilst on maternity leave.
In her personal injury capacity, Samantha helps secure compensation for those who have been injured as a result of fault. She provides support and guidance throughout the process and is passionate about her work. Samantha enjoys the variety of her personal injury caseload, which includes workplace accidents, occupier’s liability cases, road accidents, Highways Act, dog bite cases and criminal injuries compensation cases. She has a particular interest in cycling accident claims.
She has expertise in employment law for both employees and employers advising on such matters as discrimination, redundancies, HR matters (eg: disciplinaries and grievances), contract drafting/queries and settlement agreements.
Whether in Employment cases or Personal Injury claims, Samantha gets to the heart of the issue, coming up with practical solutions and dealing with matters promptly and as cost effectively as possible.
In addition to her roles in the Employment and Personal Injury teams, Samantha also undertakes some work within our Dispute Resolution team, helping to recover debts, both personal and for businesses, as well as dealing with contractual disputes.
