Career

Cristiano is a partner in the Employment group of Bird & Bird in Milan, he has many years of in-depth experience and expertise in both transactional and stand-alone employment issues.

He advises clients, including many leading international companies, on their day-to-day HR management, from hiring and disciplinary procedures through to compensation – including the implementation of stock option plans – as well as individual and collective dismissals, and litigation and arbitration advice on employment matters.

In addition, he advises on trade union negotiations and industrial relations, particularly in the transfer of undertakings and collective redundancies. He also provides advice on dealings with European works councils, trade union and social insurance litigation and arbitration, and due diligence investigations.

Before joining Bird & Bird, he was a senior employment lawyer at one of Italy’s leading law firms. He also worked in the employment, pension and benefits team at two large international law firms.
