Career

Jolyon Berry is the director of Jolyon Berry Limited, a partner in the firm. Jolyon advises on all aspects of Employment Law including advising on contracts of employment, disciplinary procedures, the enforcement of restrictive covenants, employment policies and procedures and settlement agreements. He is a trained commercial mediator and makes effective use of these skills assisting employers with employment disputes, in the workplace and in the boardroom, and is particularly experienced in the defence of employers facing claims in employment tribunals. Clients also regularly seek Jolyon’s advice on the management of collective consultation projects prior to a work relocation, redundancies or transfers of employment.

Before qualifying as a solicitor Jolyon was in the British Army serving as an officer in the Royal Tank Regiment (1990). He joined Allen & Overy LLP in 1998 for his training and qualification as a solicitor before moving to Birketts in 2003, becoming a partner there in 2006. Jolyon joined TSP in January 2019.
