Andrew, who qualified as a solicitor in 1990, leads the TSP Dispute Resolution team. He joined TSP as a Director in April 2022. Andrew is the Director of Andrew Breckenridge Ltd, a corporate partner in Thompson Smith and Puxon. Based in our Colchester office, Andrew advises both individual and business clients on a wide range of issues involving complex disputes, dispute avoidance, mediation, related regulatory and reputational issues.

Andrew has over 30 years’ experience in Dispute Resolution, having completed his degree in Law at Newcastle upon Tyne Polytechnic before going on to the Law Society’s Final Examination at The College of Law, Chester. He has been a leading figure in commercial and banking litigation teams and is an experienced and able solicitor, acting effectively and with integrity on a broad range of litigation related work for a wide range of both individual and business clients.

Throughout his career Andrew has worked in Dispute Resolution in a number of areas including property, commercial, banking and financial services, professional negligence, insolvency, employment, construction and trusts related litigation.
