Career

Mr. Xiaoqiang QIAN is the Partner of Haiwen & Partners.  Mr. Qian’s practice focuses on antitrust and competition law and Intellectual Property Related Dispute Resolution, Mr. Qian has expertise in dealing with high-profile and complicated antitrust filing/investigation/litigation,and cases in the intersection of Intellectual Property Law and Anti-monopoly law.

Mr. Qian joined Haiwen in July 2021 as partner.  Before joining Haiwen, He worked for another large domestic law firm.  Previously, Mr. Qian worked in various departments including the Anti-Monopoly Bureau of the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, and also worked in the Economic and Commercial Section of the Consulate General of the PRC in New York for three years.

Mr. Qian's native language is Mandarin, and he is fluent in English.

Education

Mr. Qian obtained his Bachelor degree in International Politics and Master degree in International Law from the University of International Relations, and received his doctoral degree in Economic Law from the University of International Business and Economics.
