Career

Hung Tuan Nguyen heads the electronics and mechanical division of the patent team in the Hanoi office of Tilleke & Gibbins. Hung’s extensive background in engineering allows him to analyze and understand technical systems from both the view of an attorney and the perspective of an inventor. With his unique insight, he is able to help clients identify inventive steps and arrive at solutions for any technicalities that may arise.

An award-winning student, Hung holds a degree in Engineering Physics, Electronic Materials, from the Center for Training Talented Engineers of the Hanoi University of Technology. He also obtained a Certificate in Creatology from the Vietnam Foundation for Science and Technology. Hung has completed a training course in patent drafting techniques organized by the European Patent Office and the IP Office of Vietnam. He speaks fluent Vietnamese and English.
