Position

Emma is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution and Media & Communications Disputes teams. She has gained litigation experience with specific involvement advising on high profile media, content and publishing matters.

Career

Emma regularly acts in libel, privacy and data protection cases, advising both individuals and organisations, such as newspapers and book publishers. Emma has gained particular expertise in data protection law, from both a journalistic and regulatory perspective. She has recently carried out a placement at Meta where she conducted litigation across EMEA. Emma also assists on complex commercial litigation matters and corporate disputes, with specific experience in freezing injunctions and search and seizure orders.

Emma is a member of the firm’s Corporate Social Responsibility group.
