Career
Joyce has extensive experience advising on the establishment of a wide range of funds for Hong Kong retail distribution and private offerings in Hong Kong. Her experience includes establishing Hong Kong domiciled unit trusts, Hong Kong open-ended fund companies, Cayman Islands open-ended investment companies and Cayman Islands segregated portfolio companies.
She handles both private and retail fund clients, including well-known and market leading asset managers. She is exceptionally skilled in advising clients on private funds with complex and bespoke features. Her expertise includes negotiation and technical drafting of sophisticated fund documentation.
Joyce also advises clients on Hong Kong regulatory requirements, ongoing compliance obligations in relation to both the fund and fund manager, the rules on marketing of investment products in Hong Kong, and reviews and drafts various funds related agreements.
