Dispute Resolution - Contentious Trusts and Estates
Position
Sean is a senior associate in the Dispute Resolution department with particular focus on contentious trusts and estates disputes.
Sean has extensive experience acting in contentious trusts and estates matters and has advised in relation to a wide range of such disputes, including the validity of Wills, in the context of testamentary capacity and undue influence, removal of executors and trustees, breach of trust, constructive and resulting trusts and the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975.
Sean also has experience of charity and commercial disputes.
Career
Sean completed his training contract with Stone King LLP and qualified into their Dispute Resolution department before joining Payne Hicks Beach in 2022.
Memberships
Sean is a member of ACTAPS, ConTrA and LSLA.
Education
Sean read History at the University of Bristol and completed the GDL and LPC at the University of Law.
