Ilhan Kul is a partner in the energy department with over 25 years experience working
on domestic transactions in both established and emerging energy markets. Ilhan Kul
has an intesive experience in M&A, corporate finance, joint ventures, private equity and
restructuring. He is a trusted and strategic advisor, whether clients are seeking guidance
on legal, commercial matters.

Ilhan Kul is recognised as a skilled negotiator with an innovative and energetic approach
and an in-depth knowledge of his clients’ business requirements. His experience
enables him to simplify the complexities in corporate work to complete deals
successfully and manage potentially contentious situations.

His experience spans a diverse range of sectors including oil and gas, LNG, CNG and
mining. Ilhan Kul primarily advises the energy sector on contractual and common law
issues that impact upon a project throughout its lifecycle, from pre-contract through to
post-completion, including strategic advice during the design, engineering, construction
and development phases.
