Matthew is a founding Partner and Managing Partner at Tyr.
Matthew also remains an active Partner in the Commercial Litigation Team specialising in conflict work with particular experience of advising on complex and high value matters relating to investor disputes, director/officer misfeasance, professional negligence and civil fraud. Matthew also has significant experience of high-profile group litigation including private damages actions for breach of competition law and investment miss-selling .
Career
Matthew founded Tyr and the Commercial Litigation team with Alistair Kennedy in 2019. Matthew trained and worked at Addleshaw Goddard between 2005 and 2012 and Stewarts between 2012 and 2017, before joining Schofield Sweeney as a Partner in 2017.
