Position

Karl Björlin is a partner and mainly specialises in restructuring, insolvency and banking and finance. He has extensive experience of corporate restructuring, liquidations (solvent and insolvent), advising directors on directors’ duties and responsibilities and other matters related to financially distressed companies. Karl is accredited and regularly appointed as official receiver in bankruptcy and as liquidator, both by the courts and the Swedish Companies Registration Office. He also represents banks, financial institutions and other creditors in various insolvency proceedings as well as clients in litigation. Karl is also experienced and assists clients with financing and security arrangements and related issues. Karl is secretary in the Swedish national association for insolvency practitioners (REKON) and on the board of TMA Sweden.
