Position
I assume the judicial representation of the company in labor processes of an ordinary nature, as well as in special processes: trade union rights, labor harassment processes and labor executives.
We attend the extraordinary Appeal of Cassation before the Supreme Court of Justice.
We represent the company in the labor arbitration proceedings before the Supreme Court of Justice in the extraordinary appeal for annulment of the arbitration award.
Career
Since September 1, 2009, I was linked to the Quintero and Quintero Asesores S.A. representing the position of Director of the Labor Litigation Area. Also, as of August 2017, I am a Professor of Procedural Labor Law and Social Security at the New Granada Military University of Bogotá- Colombia.
Alejandro Arias has 23 years’ experience in the firm. He has extensive experience in all types of labor law suits. Alejandro is in charge of the structure and leadership of cassation lawsuits before the Supreme Court of Justice.
He has been a key piece in the construction of the firms procedural strategy and in litigation, generating favorable rulings for the company in the last 12 months, such as the cases of QUALA, NEXANS, among others companies, as well as the processes of lifting the union jurisdiction of our
client COMFACAUCA.
He is a professor of labor law at the Nueva Granada Military University. And also has achieved as head of litigation department at Quintero y Quintero, the best historical statistics with an 85% of effectiveness in the lawsuits managed by the Firm in the current year 2024.
