Elzaburu is noted for its ‘excellence in the management of trade mark portfolios, as well as in pre-litigation and litigation phases’, which continues to attract instructions from major clients across the retail, biotech, and telecoms sectors, among others. The group has expertise in trade mark prosecution and litigation mandates, and regularly advises on audits, image strategy, and trade mark management on both a domestic and international level. Prosecution specialist Luis Baz and litigation expert Enrique Armijo co-head the team alongside Carlos Morán, who concentrates on litigation related to infringements, revocation, and invalidity actions, and Javier Fernández-Lasquetty, who is adept in mediation and arbitration. On the non-contentious front, Valencia-based Manuel Mínguez focuses on auditing and the protection of trade marks. Juan José Caselles retired from practice in July 2024.
