London > Employment > Senior executives
Penningtons Manches Cooper LLP is distinguished by its ‘great experience in acting for senior executives and winning their trust’. The practice counts top-tier senior executives among its client base, including managing directors, founders, CEOs, chairpersons and Premier League football managers. Paul Mander sits at the head of the practice and is regularly tasked with handling senior executive departures and arrivals. Ably supporting the practice, Ruby Dinsmore is a key contact for discrimination matters (with a niche in representing clients with neurodiverse capabilities); Tom Walker has strong expertise in the financial services sector; Hester Jewitt handles incentive agreements and post-termination restrictions; and Sarah Mant is knowledgeable about discrimination and gender equality issues.
London > Employment > Employers
The team at Penningtons Manches Cooper LLP advises a significant number of international clients on their UK operations. It is regularly called upon to lead multi-jurisdictional HR projects, as well as expansion and redundancy programmes. The group also draws upon its union practice, and its experience in acting for senior executives, to fully advise its employer clients. Recent highlights have included advising on ‘bet the company’ level discrimination claims, complex discrimination and harassment claims, and large-scale collective redundancies for listed companies. Paul Mander heads the department.
