Qualified as a Solicitor in 1998. Jon joined Machins in 1996 as a trainee solicitor becoming a Partner in 2004. Jon’s ultimate work ethos is to try and work as closely as he can with clients with the aim of being seen as their “in-house legal advisor”. His specialist practice areas include; mergers and acquisitions, distressed sales and purchases (including acting on behalf of liquidators, administrators and receivers), corporate governance, intellectual property and IT law, commercial property (acting for banks, landlords, tenants, sellers and buyers)
