Career

Ernesto Algaba Reyes’ practice focuses on corporate law, commercial law, infrastructure projects, health, official Mexican Standards (NOMs), overland transport, and consumer-related regulation. Ernesto joined Barrera, Siqueiros y Torres Landa (now Hogan Lovells BSTL) in 1991. He has aided in establishing transnational companies operating in Mexico and has also provided consulting on regulatory issues for different areas, including human and animal health, official Mexican standards, overland transport, consumer rights, and foreign trade. He has participated in PPP Projects, including the negotiation of shareholder agreements and derivatives (public contracts, financing, sureties, trusts, O&M contracts, and EPCs). He has also been an advisor on structuring for the regulatory issues on transactions between pharmaceuticals.
