Bringing several years of experience to the table, Mauricio specializes in regulatory matters, with an emphasis on environmental, health, and occupational safety advice and litigation for domestic and international clients with operations in Mexico.
Specifically, his practice includes advice on EH&S and ESG compliance and reporting day to day matters, M&A and auditing procedures, environmental and social aspects of major public and private infrastructure projects, as well as administrative and environmental litigation before Federal, State and Municipal agencies and the Mexican judiciary. All the latter, for clients of a wide array of sectors, including industrial, tourist, commercial, food, biotechnology and natural resources exploitation sectors.
Likewise, he has participated in crisis management strategies, cutting-edge matters in connection with climate change and carbon footprint projects, as well regulatory and environmental permits obtainment, polluted site remediation procedures in divestiture contexts and legislative development.
He is active on pro-bono matters both regarding social aid, environment and asylum procedures.
