Career
As an active member of the young and dynamic Antitrust, Competition, and Economic Regulation practice, Eugenia Gambarara is always ready to advise and assist clients on all matters relevant to antitrust law and consumer protection. Eugenia’s in-depth knowledge of these areas of the law is further bolstered by her professionalism and her promptness in responding to queries as well as her effectiveness in resolving legal issues involving both national and community markets. Eugenia joined the firm in 2009 after completing an internship at the Italian Competition Authority where she focused on competition law.
She advises on a wide range of antitrust issues, including merger control filings before the Italian Competition Authority and the European Commission antitrust investigations, antitrust compliance programs, state aid issues, and unfair commercial practices. Eugenia is also well versed in trade law and compliance with export control legislation particularly with regard to military items. Eugenia graduated from the LUISS Guido Carli University in both law and economics, and is a lecturer on State aid for the Master’s program ‘Antitrust and Market Regulation’ at the Tor Vergata University in Rome.
