Career
Ryan joined Leigh Day in November 2015 and conducts litigation on behalf of individual clients, groups, charities, professional bodies and trade unions. He provides regular advice to several charities on the application of the Equality Act to their service users. He is often engaged in interdisciplinary work advancing human rights in the employment context, particularly in relation to worker status and issues with the right to strike. He has a particular interest in disability discrimination, higher education disputes and holiday pay claims.
Ryan is a regular speaker at equality and rights conferences and has contributed to select committee enquiries in relation to access to justice and discrimination.
