Position
Chris specialises in all aspects of commercial property, including acquisitions, sales, and drafting and negotiating commercial leases for a number of significant mainstream clients. Chris also has a background acting for lenders in respect of loans in connection with acquisition or re-mortgage of property including development land, investment property, commercial and residential portfolios, hotels, care homes and other leisure properties.
Chris has particular expertise advising borrowers on bespoke loan and security documents in situations where conventional security/ loan documentation is unavailable or inappropriate. Chris has advised a wide group of borrowers ranging from PLC companies to private property companies in respect of their banking arrangements. His experience of both property and banking matters makes Chris ideally placed to advise on both the banking and property elements of property related loan and security documents.
