Atty. George Sioufas is the Managing Partner and founder of Sioufas & Associates Law Firm. Member of the Athens Bar Association since 1999, he established Sioufas & Associates Law Firm along with Atty. Marios Sioufas in 2005.
He has a longstanding experience in the field of Banking and Finance Law, NPE management, investment management and real estate management & development.
He has a broadly based transactional and legal advisory practice and has acted in numerous complex commercial and financing transactions.
His clients include all the major banks and financial institutions that are active in the Greek market and he has been involved in most transactions of the Greek NPL portfolio sales market, organizing and leading complicated legal due diligence exercises.
Recent highlights of his work include:
- Advised a major international construction group in negotiations and acquisition of real estate in Greece for the development of luxury hotels.
- Advised a major international investment funds in connection with NPL acquisition (which was a project of an estimated value of 20 billion Euros)
