Ms Saniya Perzadayeva is a Founder & Partner at Unicase and a recognised 20 years experienced expert in such practices as Infrastructure and PPP, Project Finance and Construction, Energy and Renewables, and CCS. Saniya advises on various legal issues, particularly corporate and commercial matters, energy, real estate, infrastructure, and public-private partnerships. Saniya specialises in legal issues, particularly corporate and commercial law and regulatory and permitting aspects of utility-scale wind, solar, and battery storage projects in Central Asia. Saniya’s distinguished expertise extends across all project development, financing, and operations facets. She has actively contributed to numerous projects spanning wind, solar, hydrogen, geothermal, heat, hydropower, battery storage, and natural gas energy at varying stages, ranging from greenfield initiatives and operational project acquisitions to repowering endeavours, amassing a remarkable 4 gigawatts of generation capacity.

She is experienced in banking and finance, debt and deposit operations, cross-border finance transactions, syndicated loans, and securities transactions.  She is an expert in Corporate law and M&A across Central Asian countries. Saniya provides consulting services to investment banks on commercial tranche syndication for different social and commercial project financing and drafts Kazakhstan security documents for project finance. She advises international companies on investments and guarantees provided to investors under Kazakhstan laws.

Saniya has played a huge role in charitable initiatives. Notably, during the COVID-19 lockdown, she spearheaded a significant project focused on bridging the digital divide.
